Why now

Practical first steps, in working hours

Sustainability is becoming part of everyday work: in tenders, in supply chains and on the energy bill. The campaign makes the first steps practical.

  1. Start with what you already do

Every programme begins with your own site, fleet or process. Teams leave with a plan they can act on the following Monday.

  2. Learning that fits a working week

Half-day workshops, evening online sessions and short blended courses. No one has to step away from the business for long.

  3. Funded for small and medium businesses

Member businesses pay a small share of the fee. Sole traders and micro-businesses can join through their local network.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from employers and learners. Each answer is written so it can stand on its own in search results.

Who can take part?

Anyone working in a business that is a member of a regional network, including owners, employees and sole traders. If your business isn't a member yet, joining is free for the duration of the campaign.

How much does it cost?

For member businesses, the network covers up to 90% of course fees. Online clinics, webinars and launch events are free for everyone.

Do I need any previous knowledge?

No. Introductory programmes assume no background. Intermediate and advanced programmes list what you should know on the programme page, and a short self-check helps you choose.

Can I enrol a whole team?

Yes. Team bookings of five or more get a dedicated start date, and the facilitator can use your own site or process as the case study.

Will I get a certificate?

Every programme ends with a digital certificate of completion. Longer programmes are mapped to recognised awards so the credits count towards further study.

What happens after I register interest?

Your regional network contacts you within five working days to talk through options, dates and funding. Registering interest doesn't commit you to anything.
